Casa Paz is located on the island paradise known as Holbox. It is just off the Yucatan coast, north of Cancun. The moment you get off the ferry, you will hear the tropical sounds, see the deep bright colors, and feel a new sense of tranquility and joy. No cars, no McDonalds, no Starbucks…yet Holbox is an island full of gourmet restaurants, great taco stands, hotels and homes of all kinds.

SWIMMING NEXT TO THE WHALE SHARK
Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated shows on the Holbox Island, swimming with the largest fish in the world, the Whale Shark. From June to September you can enjoy the largest number of species in one place. To enjoy this activity it will be enough to take a boat that will take you 45 minutes offshore to observe them and accompany their passage for a few meters.
VISIT THE 3 ISLAND
Isla Pájaros, Isla Pasión and Cenote Yalahau: A pleasant boat ride through the small islands that surround Holbox with bird watching: “chimays” (cormorants) and white and gray pelicans; of reptiles: iguanas and crocodiles, and even dolphins in freedom.
The first destination is Isla Pasión to enjoy the view of the incredible sandbars. Then visit Isla Pájaros where you can enjoy the great variety of birds that inhabit it. Finally, Yala-Hau, a small spring of fresh water where you can swim and enjoy the healthy and healing benefits of this mystical water eye, which gives its name to Holbox, which in Mayan means “black hole”.
THE FLAMINGOS
Isla Holbox has a great diversity of birds, for nature and ornithology lovers it is an ideal place, since they can be seen from white and brown pelicans to beautiful pink flamingos, among others. Between April and October a colony of 400,000 red flamingos visit it, producing a unique show.
